Lumps usually give any woman a scare. Women think of breast cancer almost immediately after feeling lumps on their breast. But aside from lumps, there are other symptoms of breast cancer in women that everyone needs to know. Inverted nipples, itchy nipples or breasts, swollen breasts, red or spotted breasts, feverish breasts, nipple discharges, and nipple pain are some of the common symptoms of breast cancer. These symptoms would also depend on the type of breast cancer. If you or a friend exhibits one or two of these symptoms, consult immediately with a physician. Self-examination is also important, but further examinations could give you more concrete results. Ultrasound tests, mammography, and biopsy are some of the tests you could take to ensure that the lump, itchiness, or swelling in your breasts is symptomatic of cancer or just plain menstrual signs or even just rashes. To avoid false scares or unnecessary worry, don't waste time to take the necessary precaution.
